Anyone surprise at the success of the Wii?
« on: November 16, 2007, 11:19:20 PM »
I honestly was skeptical of the controller! That was long before the system came out. Wow, I was wrong. They cannot make them as fast as they can sell them, still. It turns out to be one of the most innovative and brilliant contoller schemes ever. Really, think about it. Non gamers are buying the Wii's up! So, I was wrong. The wimpiest system of the bunch is making heaps more $$$. Having said all this, you likely won't see a Wii in my house.

I was skeptical myself at the controller.  I had doubts for Nintendo and thought they were going to flop like Sega did with the Dreamcast a few years back.  But I am stunned they have kicked major butt and they are still doing it.  I got my Wii and thought it was going to be difficult to handle with the controller and bought myself a regular handheld just in case.  Turns out it was a breeze and the handheld is still in the package inside the closet where I keep all of my consoles and handhelds.
