Differences between Black Ops Gears, and Reach.
« on: November 14, 2010, 02:12:59 AM »
Hey guys! So I'll post my thoughts in here tomorrow, but I wanna know which of the 3 shooters you think is the most "skillful" and why? Also what do you think makes the others inferior?

Personally, I rank Halo as the most skillful, then Gears, then CoD....and CoD is way down there....

Halo is more skillful than CoD, but I've never played Gears so I can't comment. CoD literally requires no skill, the maps are so complicated (there's so many small buildings with tons windows and corners) that people just crouch in the corner and spray their 0.5 sec killtime weapon at anyone that runs past. Srsly. One time, I went over to my friends house and played him 1v1 in WaW on his PS3. It was my first time using the console and playing a CoD game and my friend played it pretty regularly, yet I beat him like 25-19. There's no way I should be able to pull that off on my first time, an he was pretty decent at the game too.

Yeah, I agree that should not happen.

What do you think of the games in these aspects:
-Team work
-Awareness
-Good shot
-Reaction time
-Map movement/control

you are almost dead, let your shields recharge, and pwn face :P
Though i do love me some Black Ops :)

Halo has CoD beat on teamwork, awareness, and aiming. CoD requires a lot faster of a reaction time (quick kills means no time to decide what to do or turn around and shoot back). I think they're pretty even with map movement and control because from what my friend tells me (he had an MLG 48 on H3 and he plays MLG CoD at a high level), controlling the area the other team spawns in in CoD takes as much skill as it does to control power weapons and spawn points in Halo.
