if you keep dying (in a team game especially) calm down, grab a close to midrange weapon and camp somewhere
instead of running out there and getting owned by that sniper, take an alternative root, or find a hiding spot
if your up against the ghost on Snowbound dont be stupid and repetetively charge at it. Grabs some plasmas or Spartan Laser and stay near some cover and get the ghost to come to you.
team fire is important its the key to winning any type of team game dont be a hero and charge at three of them alone set up a perimeter with your teammates and give them hell with grenades and carbines.
Communicate! Why are you losing by ten kills its because of two things A. your team is not communicating enough information to one another. B. one of your teammates or you are just running out where they can easily kill you.
Always have a plan. when you start a game think of where the weapons are on the map and head towards one. Also think like you would if you were the enemy, plan for things to happen.
Dont fight battles you know you cant win. If you see an enemy in the middle of narrows and all you have is an assault rifle, Dont start shooting at him finds some cover and wait for him to come to you
Grenades always keep them handy.

for ffa dont worry about kill stealing...in customs for ffa you can kill steal its not always a bad thing cause maybe those kills secure you for first place.....

team ideal needs:
- controlling weapons/ using them effectivly
- controlling power areas i.e snipe tower
- placement of players, have players spread enough to cover more ground and cover each other
- spawn control, if you know and force the other team to spawn in a certain spot then it can lead to many many kills
- know the map, weapon times, overshield times,invis ect.
- work together, team br, team nades
- trust and communicte properly, dont just say "theres one guy". be specific i.e "one shot, snipe 1!"

If your gonna play team slayer try to go in with guys you can trust. Sometimes if its just you and your buddy you get two random guys on your team. For all you know they wont have mic's or they dont even communicate at all. Next is if you or your team mate gets killed by a guy call out to your team what weapon, where he killed you with an weather hes one shot or not. I dont know how many times i have gone in after a guy who killed my teammate just to be killed by him as well cause he had a shotgun or mauler or a sword. " dude i got killed by sword guy in top of right elevator room". That means dont go up in that room unless you know your gonna be able to take him out. That would be on construct cause i see that happen a lot.

Shield Drain and BR is a good thing if used at the right time on smaller maps like Construct, High Ground, Narrows. No so much on Last Resort.
