Halo 3 tournaments. Your plans for participating?

Just curious who is confident enough in their skills to partake in tournaments. I know that with MLG in Canada, I'm going to be attending anything I can get to. Playing in? Doubtful at this point. I'm just curious if you guys make your way to tourneys locally or do you travel around the country?

Thats to much effort for me. My work schedule sucks and they are anal about any time off. Man do i need a new job.

Im pretty confident in my skills though. Ive never been beaten offline. When i play with people from my area and we do slayer type matches we have to turn the kill spot up to 50 cause i mutilate everyone before they usually get about 10 kills themselves.  Thats why online was fun. I could randomly get my rear handed to me by strangers. Losing isnt the end of the world, its a learning experience. Every loss is a lesson of what not to do, and teaches me how to hone my skills and what needs improving.  Im and animal at close and mid range combat, but a half a** sniper. After getting mauled by a darn good sniper who i couldn't get close to, i made it a special point to hone my sniper ability. And the next time i met this sniper it was much more evenly matched. Man i cant wait to go live again soon!

It would be nice to attend one, but participation wise, I'd have to say no dice just yet. Practice makes perfect I suppose, still honing my aiming and beat down timings, grenade bouncing etc.

I am trying to find a good group of people to play with online to continue improving my skills(or lack there-of). It is hard to come across good players to party up with on a regular basis, I am hoping as I get into the higher levels in Team Slayer I will meet better players.

I think local tournaments would be great.  Im sure there are many diferent oginizations that can sponser one.

I would to plae in a local tournament but there has never been one around here in Sc, usa. However if you want a team mate on your buddies list then add me thelordj0vian. the 0 may or may not be a zero I cant remember.
