Underused weapons

Hey everyone, just wondering what you consider the most underused weapons in the game and which ones you tend to forget about or simply never use. For me, rockets is one as I generally leave that to another guy on my team. I discovered recently that I ignored the Carbine completely on High Ground, now that I use it often, it has made High Ground, which was my least favourite map, one of my favourites. I don't see many people using it at all and I can't understand why as I can use it just as well as a BR, and I love the rapid fire. I also don't use the Mauler very often, and I've never had a kill with a plasma rifle. It isn't really a weapon either but I have never had a kill with a Wraith, I avoid vehicles completely whenever I can. I never used to use the Spartan Laser either but now I go for it in every Big Team game and have been getting at least 2 or 3 Triples a game on Warthogs, great fun.

I use almost all weapons but I never ever use the spiker. (probbably cos i play bumper jumper)

Most people usually dont pick up plasma guns but its a great CQC weapon (especially on snowbound ) if you're going for the beatdown. You'll beatdown the other person 90% of the time cos it will take their sheilds out with around 3 shots which is about less than 2 seconds. Even if they have a better weapon such as a Mauler or duel weilding you'll at least clash with them and go even. If you beatdown againts someone with an AR you'll win all the time.

i dont like the pistol ever since they messed with it.i think they should have left it alone.i hate that it shoots slower than on Halo2

Agreed... I completely ignore pistola, plasma rifle, and spiker most of the time. I also pass on plasma pistol unless i'm in a custom game with friends or something. I love it for nades n spades, though.
