All this Halo 3 multiplayer customization. Like it or hate it?

I hate it. I always have hated when games water down the content like this. I mean, Bungie are the masters, they should have confidence in what they have released. When you get thousands of variations online, then all of a sudden the consistency is gone. I've never seem this level of customization as being a good thing. I like it when a game is set, then everybody is playing the same thing. It's much better from a competitive point of view. Thumbs down from me.

I have yet to play multi player, as i moved to the middle of nowhere and no one around here seems to even know what a friggin xbox is much less competent players.

However i do know where your coming from. It can lead to unfair advantages in hosted game or competitive matches.

I think that its a great idee becouse you can easely keep playing it even longer becouse of this and you got to chose to play a costimized map so if you hate costimized maps then just dont play them!

Very good point. If you don't want to deal with the possibility of being jipped in a match, don't play forge maps or user created games. Not a whole lot of people play them as it is, and even fewer care if you do well in them. They're just somethin fun to play around with when your bored.

Social and Ranked playlists are where it's at if you want to get recognition.

The variety of games, armor, weapon types, and game types only add to the replayability of the game. Which is what any metagame should strive for. I think bungee did a flawless job with this one. (at least as well if not better than expected)

Hmm I'm still not liking the whole Forge bit. It's like writing a song and telling the fans to figure out what the song is about and what the words mean. That sucks and it really lazy.

i love it because i can forge a map my brother knows nothing about and stomp him into the ground
