When did you start gaming?

I managed to get my old SNES console out of the garage yesterday  Which I played when I was 5-6 years old. I played Super Metroid, Lemmings and Mario as a kid, but my first ever gaming experience was when I was 4 on like the first ever Sega. I used to freak out when I died though and I was scared to play the game. I found a saved file from 1995 yesterday, as well as a saved Metroid file right near the end, it took me 2 hours and a half to finish the whole game (as a kid) anything under 3 hours was considered fantastic, and there was a special ending for anyone who could do it, so I was really pleased with that. It'd be interesting to hear other peoples gaming memories from when you were a child, maybe you even share similar ones to me.

1989 Super Mario Bros. FTW!
I went from NES to SNES and Genesis and Gameboy - then my brothers got N64 I got PlayStation then PS2 - Traded those for xbox (that's right) then traded the xbox for 360. Never looked back! (PS - Goldeneye on N64 OWNES!!!)

8-9 with my friend , his brother was a hardcore player he had so many games we played sc and wc3 [ sucking hard of course ] I would always lose and one day we went to a gaming cafe cause me friends brother worked there and vsed this other kid  in wc3 My friend and I vs The kid and A comp [ insane]. He was all like brb ima get a drink so we gave all his cash to the computer and then it OWNED US we were like :O.

Yeah then my mum bought a xbox for mothers day o_O Halo was the game it came with I played the campaign then others  ect.
