still nothing here is some more info that might help you.
When i click start/ help and support/ music, videos, and photos/music and sounds/fixing a music or sound problem/sound trouble shooter.
The trouble shooter then asks "What problems are you having?"
I answer "I do not hear sound from my computer's speakers or headphones."
Then it asks, "Can your computer play sounds from a different source? With this question it gives me the option of trying to play a sound by going to "Sounds and Audio Devices Properties in Control Panel. then go to the sounds tab"
When i go there i select a sound to play and there is a little play button right next to it, that should be clickable, but it isnt.
The computer also told me "There are no active mixer devices available." What the heck does that mean?
Also it tells me to do this.
"Open Sounds and Audio Devices Properties in Control Panel.
On the Audio tab, click your sound device in the Default device lists under both Sound Playback and Sound Recording."
when it says to select your default playback device i cant even select a device the screen isnt even clickable.
Ne thoughts?
