I understand creation quite well. I was raised a catholic and went to Sunday school for 8 years until I was confirmed. Once i turned 18 I started taking philosophy classes and started thinking for myself instead of what I was taught my whole life.

I have also thought for myself. (Not that you said I havent) and came to a different conclusion, then you. But i do agree it is important to think for yourself and not take what ppl say is true, as fact.

I know we haven't even hit the tip of the iceburg on the Creation and Evolution debate. And it seems these posts are moving away from that, so I will ask a question to bring it back on topic.

What made it seem like evolution/creation was the correct world origin when you studied them? What points convinceed you of one and what points made the other seem outlandish?
