This is really worthy of being on here, just so I can get your guys opinions and let you know how shocking this is. I started the job I'm at now about 8 weeks ago but from day 1 had troubles with really old pervy men. I'm 18 but I look young, even younger than 15 year olds (especially in America), I have immune defiency and am missing certain enzymes in my body, and no I'm not a dwarf or anything lol... I'm average height I just look young for my age. The other day though really was the worst for pervy stuff. Coming towards the end of my shift a Polish guy who I'd never served before was waiting in the line for ages at the checkout and I didn't know why. He then started asking me if I wanted to go out and drink. As he was 30 I really didn't want to, but he was doing everything possible and offering to buy me drinks. After convincing him I didn't want to he asked me where I lived, what time I finished, which way I walked home etc, so I told my manager and she let me out of the back of the store early. Today it was even worse! I was putting away cigarettes and the same guy comes in with a 60 year old looking man... he asks me a question which I barely understood with this terrible accent, I answered it for him and he takes it as an excuse to pat and rub my hair. The whole time he was staring at me and trying to get near to me, it was disgusting. At the end of my shift, the bar next door told people inside and about 5 people were waiting outside to make sure I got out safely, 1 guy even walked me down the road. It hasn't just happened with these guys, but its happened before, just not as obvious. There was 1 guy with a huge diamond earring who would wait in the line for ages, just to be served by me, and he'd come into the store at least 6 times a day. Fortunately that stopped. I'm seriously considering quitting my job because of it all though.
