Halo 2

Hey everyone!

I am new to the forum and all, I have used several other forums before, and I have to say that this one is looking pretty good! The website is going very well also.

Anyway, I have played halo 1 over and over, but was just wandering, since I am gonna but halo 2 for my xbox 360 this week, do you guys have any tips? I have never played it before, I am DEAD EXCITED to, but do you guys have any tips? I am a pretty advanced player.

Please answer this topic! Any good tips would be apreciated!

Great thanks for posting. I would say the main thing, is to look at the weapon tricks that I have on the main website. Learn those, adopt those into your gameplay. I can't stress that enough. Just using those will give you a substantial advantage.

Thanks! My fav. parts that I am excited for halo 2 is the new Assault Riffle, and and the battle riffle, and the new ship, In Amber Clad. 

So how many people are there on the forum up to now?

Im one more person! Halo two is pretty good. But kind of a let down for the series if you ask me. The pistol is a total let down. One cool feature that isnt in halo one and they took out of halo three is the ability to duel wield the needler. That can do damage! The red elite rifle is another halo 2 exclusive and one of my favorite weapons. Being able to be the arbiter is pretty cool as well, though your cloak is limited.

The hunter still go down with a shot in the soft orange spot on the back, which they dont seem to wanna do in 3. The wraiths are much easier to hijack than in 3 were they seem to get destroyed when you punch the hatch open. The snipers are introduced in 2 as well. The brute blaster isnt as good in 2 as it is in 3.

Over all its still a good game. the weapons needed will vary from situation to situation. The carbine and the assualt rifle are best for the brutes. 2 or 3 shots in the head and they are no more. (aside from sniper rifles of course)

plus in halo2 you can dual weild the needlers.plus the scarabs are easier to take down in 3 than 2 to me.and the brutes are harder in 2 than 3 cause in 3 two or three melee atacks can take down a brute but in 2 you can almost never get close enoufe to even touch the brutes.but i dont really think the pistol is a let down said by socorban.dual pistol to the head of almost anything can demolish even on other human players.i hope i could help
