Full page IGN type ads. Do you avoid those websites?

I dunno it really annoyed me with the full screen ads. Unavoidable unless you pay basically. IGN seems the worst for it. For me, I stick with the less commercialized sites for my gaming news.

I don't like to frequent sites that pop ads up like that, except File Planet, but as a subscriber you can turn them off. The only reason i have a subscription there is to get into some of the betas that are "member exclusive". In general though I will not go to a site that has the huge full paid ads when several other sites report the same news in a much more basic and less intrusive site.

i hate those stupid ads i like this website better than any other game informer website because i havent seen one of those ads.i avoid those websites most of the time

Ok, I'm not the only one. I just find those ads cheesy and annoying. If they want people to stop linking to their pages, then I guess mission accomplished. I wouldn't put any of my visitors through those full page ads for some article. I'll paste it on my site instead...

thats cool.i love the act you dont have those ads.that keeps me coming back.plus the video feeds and just everything on the website.

yeah i know what you mean its annoying and useless....but hey what can we say?...IGN makes money off of those ads so let them keep some pocket change ...
