FFA or Team?

i like team a lot more, since ffa is all about stealing kills to win, but not much strategy, other than get behind cover when ur a one-shot. in team games, it takes a good strategy, skill, communication, trust, and team-work. even if your not that good at getting kills, you can still help yur team win with clean-up, support, being a distraction, or just calling out. ffa is just luck with some good marksmanship, while team is having some skill, at halo.

As far as stats are concerned, neither one requires more skill to be successful in as both games allow you to get backpacked, clean up kills, unfair spawns, etc. (a lot of external variables other than skill are involoved).

However, I like team games more just because it requires way more strategy to win unless you get bad kids on your team (cough* cough* legit 26's who refuse to call out and betray you for the sniper so that they can get 1 kill out of 12 sniper rounds then talk shit to you all game long but refuse to 1v1 once the game is over, which was their idea to begin with, after seeing you went +5 with most assists and they went -11 with 2 assists after running around all game with rockets and snipe.  Sorry, I just had to vent... ).

I always go for team more but only when I am playing with people I know. They actually both are awful sometimes. I actually got betrayed in social slayer because I took the banshee in Valhalla to snipe up on the base which got me 3 kills. I noticed in FFA that I get them to 1 shot and boom here comes the vulture to sweep up the kills. I always thought its more who has the better hiding spot to steal kills. Even in Team Snipers I got betrayed for saving my teammates life which he then told me he had even though it was 1vs2. And it bugs me, when they do it I can not kick them but if I do it back then I get kicked.

I'm convinced now...  No more b*tching about how you guys never play doubles with me.  I'm gonna get my 45 in LW

Yesterday I decided to try it and was at level 20.  I played about 20 games and there was three where I didn't finish 1st.  2 of the 3 where I didn't win outright I still came in second (and so it still counted as a win) and the only one that I lost was oddball on foundry, aka. whoever spawns near the ball wins .   Needless to say in 20ish games i ranked up 13 times and am now a 33 with 35 exp.  I'm pretty confident that I'll have my 40 by the end of today as there was only 2 games out of the 20 where I didn't go double digits positive (most of the time I'm 25 kills and <10 deaths )

Why did no one tell me about how easy LW is?  ROFLZ

Took your advice tried LW. Got plus 10 still got 2nd because the other dude camped with the sword in the pit the whole time. So the morons that got 3 kills kept rushing in there. It is actually quite fun.

Team all the way! There is nothing like beating kids in doubles 25-2 (joey) or 50-7 (team NA) or just the intensity of two evenly matched teams competing.

NVM I take back everything I said about LW being easy to get a 45 in.  I'm pretty much quitting indefinitley becasue I'm so sick of getting crouched up on and cleaned up/having my kills stolen by AR noobs.

Thank you! I played it for awhile and the beginning parts are easy when you face the people who can't shoot a br worth their life.

LOL None of the kids I've met in LW so far can shoot a BR worth their life and I'm a 39 in it.  They just crouch around corners and wait for people to get into a fight then rush out a clean up the kill with their AR or (insert name of close range weapon)+Beatdown combo.

4's is the best way to play. You're always putting shots on someone and working as a team. For the most part FFA is just about posistioning yourself where you can clean up kills rather than taking and holding map control etc. less strategy involved and you miss out on the banter of playing in a 4.
