Spaz on ts
« on: March 28, 2009, 05:51:43 PM »
Ok I pretty much suck at halo3 and am having a hard time getting better.  So I found this site and forum and its been some help but I have a hard time when I get in a close up battle (which I lose every time ) of staying in control and not going crazy with the controller.  a lot of times before I know it I am looking at the sky meleeing like craze and then I am dead.  I have only been able to get to an 18 and I am stuck there K/D ratio is horrid like an .78 or something really the only way I got to an 18 is because my brother is pretty good he is at a 40 and when I use to pair up with him on TS I would move  up quicker,  but he is getting tired of me lowering his score so he kind of stopped playing with me since he is limited on time because of his work schedule and he would rather play ranked instead of social matches with me.
So I guess my question is this something I can get out of and start getting in the +numbers at the end of matches.  I have been trying to play some more social matches to practice but it seems you have more people dropping out or kids yelling and screeming at each other then you have on the ranked matches.

oh here is my gamertag HACKSAW1942 if anyone wants to look

Sorry for the halo life story and thanks in advance for any help you guys can provide!!

Try lowering your sensitivity a little bit.  Also, it seems like you overcompensate with your right stick, try not to move it as much.  Add me:  Ponked

customs with better players is the way to go.
make sure you learn something everytime you play against these guys, if not then you really won't improve and be stuck
making the same mistakes over and over again.

i would love to share what has helped me improve but that would take 500 posts and i'm still nowhere near as good as these guys. so feel free to add me and we'll play some friendly customs for br/sniping practice.

Looking for people to play customs with. i'm a halfway decent player but inconsistent looking to improve my overall skill/strategy. send me a friend invite and let's have some fun with customs! :)
