For all new players to halo 3 and need help

Hi my name is Derek or aka Ashthera on xbox live, I have noticed more and more people coming on to this forum asking for help and tips on playing this game that I oh so love, I am in no way a pro player and I probaly never will be but one can always hope to play halo 3 for a living, anyway I am posting this topic to say that anyone that wants tips on absolutly anything just ask me I can help you in anyway I can, if you want to know how to strafe better, shoot your BR better shoot a sniper rifle better let me know, I would also like to take people into MLG custom games and point out what you do wrong and what you could have done better, also before I start a customs game with you I would like to talk to you guys and ask you to focus on one thing while playing, this way you can get the hang of playing the game in a more better way, for instance strafing alot of people don't strafe and just charge straight at you so instead of that I will tell you to stop and strafe when you see an opponent, wether you die or not doesn't matter it is just to get you used to strafing when you see someone, if anyone would like to add me on xbox live just add my gamertag Ashthera and/or post on this forum if I have no room left on my list and I will get back to you.

  I think it's great that you are offering to help others! the little bit I got to play the other day with you helped.  I am also glad you killed the crap out of my brother, just because he kills me so much.

He knows what he's talking about noobies!  I've improved probably 20 ranks worth just from using this forum.  And if you play some customs with people who are way better than you, don't worry because playing people your level doesn't help you improve.

And to Garee...

You shoot him in the head two more times with a sniper rifle (which of course he survives from) then you get AR'd and beatdowned and die.  While you're waiting to respawn, you track down the Bungie employee who lives nearest you, drive there, ring their doorbell, and punch them square in the face.

Brennan from what I can see you need to be more aware of the situation, from the video I watched with you today you seemed to sort of were just rushing them a bit and that put you into positions where you were getting teamed up on, pay attention to where your team is, if you keep dying in a place stop doing the same thing over and over again, although there will be times where you can't do much so if you find yourself stuck and try and do as much damage to the other team as possible so your other team mates can just pick them off.

lol..You forgot the 2 rockets. I have seriously had it with the lag and shots not registering. I watched one video of me and Brennan playing; and I counted at least 4 sniper headshots that didnt even take his shields down. At least you dont get that on CoD.

I get it all the time to garee but as much as it looks like it hit it must have just grazed him or something, sometimes it does hit and doesn't register but that is like once in a blue moon, as for your BR you just need to play and practice man, you may not be leading your shots or something man, I know it may be frustrating sometimes and Brennan gets frustrated to but if you like this game and want to be good at it you need to practice just like with anything else in life.

Ponked man he is just joking around but he is going to far so brennan maybe tone it down a tad, but ponked man you go overboard to, you need to not give everything a play by play dude and stop whispering it just so annoying, if you want to give a play by play go work for mlg and be an announcer like pucket, brennan enough with the homo jokes you bash everything he says.
