Methods for Improvement
« on: April 27, 2009, 11:15:08 PM »
I'm a new poster on the forum, but have been reading posts for a few days, and was curious what are good methods for improvement.  I have played the game for a bit, and played through the previous games, but cant seem to notice improvement.

Is there a particular weapon choice I should begin with, maybe a map that would accommodate lower skilled players, maybe even a hands on lesson?

I find the matchmaking setup enrages me because I almost always end up being out-skilled to such an extent, i cant break double digit kills before the end of the round.

What can you suggest?

If you're pretty new to this game, get one of the regulars from this site to give you a lesson on the basics first.  I'm not going to go into any detail because as you're so "new", there's so much that I could talk about that I could be sitting here for the next 8 hours typing, and I have school tomorrow.  :D

I can definitely help you out any time I'm on, although there are a few others who are slightly better than me and who are a little more experienced with handling new comers.   Just send me a friend request and we can see where you're at.

My gamertag is "Ponked".  Just include a messsage saying you're from halo forever.

If you want some tips or anything like that just add me Ashthera and we can go over some things and maybe some of your gameplay.

Thank you ponked and Ash for your help so far.  It showed me a few things that seem to be an immediately apparent improvement.
