The E3 of 2011 should prove to be interesting. What we are hearing now, loudly and clearly is that Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary is coming. How so?

If authentic, it says Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary and it says E3. Think about Halo Reach and how that has really flattened out. I would strongly suggest that Halo needs a new game and quickly. Bring back Halo Combat Evolved HD makes a lot of sense.

Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary is happening for the following reasons:

#1 one reason for Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary

Halo Reach has peaked and is essentially all but over.

#2 Halo Combat Evolved is still considered a masterpiece

Halo Combat Evolved 2 would take the experience to the next level. I don't hear anyone complaining about the Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary idea. Bring some new maps and the HD refresh and everyone is happy.

#3 Halo Combat Evolved 10 year anniversary is November 15

There is also rumors that the Halo CE Anniversary would be released on November 15, 2011 which is ten years since the original Halo Combat Evolved.

 

The rumor is that Halo Combat Evolved 2 will not use the Halo Reach engine. We hear the applause from a lot of you on that one! In addition, it's possible that 3D may be part of Halo Combat Evolved 2. The other twist will be an online co-op mode.
