I just got a 42" plasma at Christmas. I must say that it rocks. I realized over the past year that game makers cater to HD because if you notice, most of the text sucks to read on a regular TV. I just gotta say, get on the HDTV bandwagon. Pretty good deals out there. I have to admit that I bought it because my previous tv was going glitchy. If you game, you gotta start thinking HDTV. My 2 cents.

If it's for gaming, get a monitor.  They come in good small sizes, are half the price of an HDTV, and have virtually no input lag.  I want a Viewsonic v2260wm for my b-day. Cheesy

We played some NHL 2010 last night. Amazing with the widescreen. You realize how much of the game you miss out on. You can see players to pass to unlike a regular TV setup.

I have played on the viewsonics that MLG uses for a couple years now and the difference when I play at my friends house on his old crappy TV is rediculous, I can't stand it it makes my eyes hurt.

Although I'm with the 42" plasma, there is something about the 24" lcd with my computer. I'm still liking the intimacy on the 24". I you aren't using widescreen something, then shame on you!
