I know a lot of you guys pwn. There are a lot of changes in Reach multiplayer. Who is a bit worried about relearning the new system? Or is it just a matter of BR accuracy so everything will be fine?

It's two different games and there are bound to be changes in regards to who is better than who, but keep in mind that the two are fairly similiar and I can't see MLG 50's getting beat by brigadiers. At least it makes me feel better when I tell myself that Smiley

It's a different story in the MLG rankings... Be prepared to see a lot of new faces making a name for themselves in the Open Bracket.

It is still a halo game so it will be the same at the very basic level, but it will be different at the same time, so all the people that are good at halo 3 will still excel in reach but there will be some things you will need to learn.

Yeah, I'm just not sure about all these armors. Seems pretty funky. I mean, they have added some pretty different gameplay elelments. There potentially could be a lot of whining imo.

I am only going to be playing arena and the mlg playlist so there will only be sprint in those playlists, nothing really major to worry about for me, so camo people can kiss my ass (bungie that was the worst idea ever, defeats the purpose of having active camo on the map) people with armor lock can kiss my ass, and all the other stupid armor abilities can kiss my ass.

Ok cool. That armor stuff seemed a bit toyish to me. I agree that for pro and serious Halo games, it needs to be streamlined.

Neither Bungie nor MLG have said that there won't be restricted armor abilities in the Reach MLG playlist (which has been confirmed).  Don't make assumptions.

I am not making assumptions, there is no way in hell that MLG is going to use armor lock or camo or that projection shit, people have said this before.

The people who have said that are doing exactly what you are doing: claiming pure speculation as fact. Sundance hasn't said anything like this.  Killa KC hasn't said anything like this.  None of the MLG staff who are responsible for creating the gametypes and maps that will be used in the Reach MLG playlist have said anything because THEY HAVEN'T EVEN STARTED TESTING.  How do you know what the gametype settings will be when MLG hasn't even started testing them?

How do you know that they have said they haven't started testing if they haven't said anything, there will be an MLG playlist with launch, bunie said this in an interview or something I can't remember where, there are other people with reach other than the people that ripped it from the internet.

My 2 cents really, is that any professional gaming organization would want a game to involve the least amount of luck. It's really tricky when toyish type gameplay additions are part of the game. Personally I'd be shocked (speculation) if they include the new abilities that essentially remove skill and add luck and chance to the game. Conservative is the name of the game imo.

LOL watch the interview with Sundance, Clap, Killa KC, and Sepso at Raleigh (which was like a week ago). The MLG playlist for Reach is not coming out with launch. Once the game is released, they'll start testing for the v1 MLG gametypes and maps.  I don't want armor abilities either, but don't say there won't be when you have no clue.
