I dont know if im not supposed to post a response to another users question in here or not, if im not i apoligize and hope it is removed promptly. But I just thought id give some of my own advice. Instead of trying claw beatdowns go to control scheme bumperjumper. It works much better, your fingers never have to leave either stick, its faster, and more comfortable.

yea claw is a pain in the ass. what helps is creating a custom game with OS and only beatdowns. O and did u watch Pull a Sureshot on my fileshare?

we'll take it one step at a time, for BR team hardcore is a great way, it will help ur team on GB and ur BR cus its BR start. Customs also help, MLG style. if u talk to Jaspun(thats his tag) he'll explain to u how i showed him to used the Blue window ramp to improve his BR, hes probably on more than me so u should ask him about it. Learn how to strafe well, make ur movement unpredictable. i used to take about 5 steps each way in my strafe a few months ago, it was too predictable so now my steps are like 4,3,1,3,6,3 as sumthing random like that should help. Aiming is key, with a good strafe and good aiming ur BR will be nasty, it will take time tho to make it better. wut i do used to do is make a new account very few months, by doing so u can see the improvement based on ur service record stats, i discourage this tho. For FFA its takes too long to explain so ill put some FFA gameplay up on my Fileshare, if u have any remaining questions after watching my vid, ask me and i will help

If u started playing halo 3 with bumper jumper i would stay with it, the only downfall with it is jumping and duel wielding would be harder to aim but its not that much uv a set back |

Just go play some customs with these guys. They're great about helping you out. You will learn how to use the BR real fast, trust me.  |

I still can't do it right. My game is pretty decent besides the damn close range combat. That's where you guys tear me up. I need some help.  |

I have customs a lot so feel free to join whenever you see one. I just thought I'd drop you off a quick q, if your free at any time at all and I'm online, can we set up a quick custom on Valhalla as I need serious practice on BR from a longer range (to the point where the crosshair isn't red), as this tends to be my downfall in Social Slayer on Valhalla.

I've played you before, and I got owned. Gamertag AUDIDON. Have a question regarding the shotty. With beginners I have a good ratio when going shotty to shotty. When I play you guys I loose 90% of the time. Is there a trick to winning shotty to shotty battles?

What the guy above said is a killer for me, I'm sick of losing shotty battles! I've been working on my BR for a while now, I could be completely wrong but I don't think I've made any significant improvement. How long can it take before I start to really see an improvement in my skills? Btw Sureshot... you sent me a game invite tonight, of course I wouldn't ignore it! There's something wrong with my NAT atm, so I can only join games that have certain connections, but I'll fix it asap.  |

well to win a shotgun battle all u need to do is time it rite, or to wait for them to shoot at a farther range then u, enuf so it wont kill u, rite after they shoot get closer and shoot beatdown takes extreme timing. this works with most weapons when against a shotgun

start at chest and let the spring move the gun slowly too the head.....its much more efficient then trying to get headshots  |
