Okay. General question for you sir.
I know rank really doesn't mean much in halo b/c of boosters etc.
But for the life of me, I cannot get past level 37 in team slayer.

Out of all my friends I would consider myself to be the best halo player
and everyone on my friends list plays casually. So they're around level
22-25ish. I know alot of the do's and don'ts, -pretty proficient in knowing
what weapons to use for what situations...blah blah blah

I just don't know what I am doing wrong. Maybe it's just matchmaking or
bad luck but I am ALWAYS carrying my team. It's horrible. I can usually
clear my head after a match, but after like 7 consecutive losses I debate
quitting this game. I try my best to help out other teammates. I will call out
weapons respawing, snipers, where op. team is, and it usually falls on deaf
ears.

I just want to better myself as a player, maybe I just need to start playing
with better players?

Im sure I could help u out, if u get a few gameplay films ready we can watch those and I can tell you what you are doing wrong in certain situations.

Sorry I know this is a thread for garbage to awnser questions but I'll try and awnser your question, in my experiences in matchmaking is not that much fun unless you go in with people that you know that are just as good as you, I go into matchmaking sometimes and I'm the only calling out and doing well on my team, it's just the way it goes, but a little while agao I played teamslayer with people on this forum and we did really well in matchmaking and had a good time doing it, it's all about who you go in with dude, there is always the factor on your idividual skill which myself and the others on this forum can help you with but it's teamslayer so one person can ruin the whole game for you. Give me an add and me and Brennan aka Blakout bobxxz will do some free for all with you and give you some tips. My gamertag os Ashthera.

Any help is good help. 

Honestly, almost everytime I get paired up with a GOOD set of players I will ask them what am I doing wrong.
They'll go "put the controller down" "walk away" or some other none in-helpful BS. I'm not looking to just get
a higher rank in team slayer. I want to play as good the people who are in 40-45 range. I totally understand
that getting better takes time, and work. And for anyone to help me - even looking at this post / replying
I want to extend a thanks. I figured I'd ask a pro his thoughts. But I am open to anyone's opinion. I DO realize
it is called TEAM SLAYER.

I'm probably a decent player that definitely needs some work, but I have the will to get better. I guess all that
would come with with working with a better team, and learning things as I go.

Again. I do play with a lot of lowbies, they are personal friends that are getting better. Even if anyone or garbage
has some leadership tips, or what to tell / do with them so I can develop them into a team that works would be
awesome as well. As for the videos of myself I will record some after I get through my work week (I work 4 days,
off for 3 kinda thing) and post for you all too look at. I also paid for Legendpimps guide, after looking around to see
what the consensus was on it being worth it. Just waiting for the email back from him for my password and whatnot
... It's been 3 days.

it sounds like your prety confident with your own gameplay, and thats good if you like lonewolves,  my advise would be to find some teamates who are also in your postition and about the same level give or take,  then play with them (a lot) for the most part getting to 50 isn't done by yourself,  i got mine along with a friend who was about my skill and had the same common goal.

first of all im not a pro by any means but i would be willing to help you out.  send me a Friend reaquest, my new tag is NA Authority,  we can play some slayer or some customs or what ever, try to identify your problems,

as for the guide, i bought it, not worth it in my opinion.  for one he has never updated it which he claims he will do weekly.  secondly it is only for teamslayer doubles and lonewolves, if he realy wanted to help he would teach mlg,  that is what makes you better.  slayer is my least favorite playlist, mosty due to stand off.  so just send me a fr and an message telling me who you are, because i get a lot of random frs that i dicline
