Bad at H3

Just wondered what your thoughts are on this so far? I personally don't like the idea of isolation being used, just doesn't feel right when playing. MLG maps are about map control, tactics and teamwork, iso king just seems to lower those standards. I think the map is too open on top, and when the hill is bottom mid can get naded or shot from 5 directions! It just isn't possible to watch all of them!

I'm not too sure about lockdown either - I like the map design mostly -, it just seems very close quarters in some instances and trying to fight someone top A turns into a beat down fest. Bottom Mid seems very open when running the flag. I do like Joey Joey's call outs for this map though, they're very descriptive - where as I couldn't call out because I didn't know where the hell I was half the time. It might grow on me in time though like narrows and onslaught.

I like the lock down mapalot, I can move around the map quite well but isolation is just the worst idea ever.

Lawl.. "1 shot atop that awkward pyramid thing I briefly described earlier!".

I haven't played lockdown enough to say anything, and hadn't played too much iso on mlg settings. I can't imagine either being anywhere near pit/onslaught.

I like both actualy, the new iso king is much beter, actualy fun, i think it will be chalenging to gain map controle against experianced teams but it seams fun so far,  same with lock down,  i heard that its no longer a flag map?? but i liked it for flag and slayer so either way is good,  props to whoever created it, its cool,  like a mix between pit and onslaught.   good mix of open and closed areas.

I always here people in MLG complaining about Lockdown but truthfully, I don't really mind it.  It's pretty straightforward, the spawns aren't rediculous (see below), it has some decent cover, and there's several ways to set up.

But don't even get me started on Amplified... Angry  If any map needs to be taken out, it's Amplified, just because of the degree of rediculousness (is that a word?) of the spawns.

I think Assembly would make a great MLG map though.  It'd be perfect for Slayer or CTF (oddball or King would get too restricted in the sense that there's limited angles of attack).  I also hope that someone will make a decent large sized map out of Sandbox too.  There's definitley enough of those mid-sized symmetrical maps, we need a change.
