So to help you out:
- When playing Pit CTF, either run the flag through long hall while juggling (pick up and drop the flag repeatedly to help you move faster) or jump from their platform and pass the flag off to a waiting teammate standing at their greenbox who juggles it the rest of the way. These are the two fastest and best routes to take. You can go training or runway occasionally (like once every 3-5 games), but only under special circumstances because most often the other team will be spawning at their own sniper tower/courtyard as you pull the flag. If you always run the flag through runway, more often than not you'll be taking the flag right past four full-shielded members of the other team who've just spawned. The reason you want to run it through long hall is because it's the farthest away from the enemy sniper tower (which is where the enemy will most often spawn if you kill them in their base and have the needle-spawn area occupied by a member of your team) and it's a lot harder for the other team to get shots on the flag carrier because they're so far away.
Additionally, make sure AT LEAST THREE of the opposing team are dead and in the process of respawning before you pull the flag (and make sure at least 3 members of your team are still alive). Watch out though because although nearly everyone from the opposing team will be dead, making for an easy flag grab, if they spawn at their own sniper tower they'll most likely go through training or sword to try and cut the flag carrier off so make sure you have someone watching that section of the map.

- And for god sake, make one team of four and practice against another team of four that's around your skill level (you don't want to get destroyed every game but you don't want to get an easy win every game), maybe one that your friend starts, a team you meet in matchmaking, etc.
P.S. And with all your strategies, try and make a few so that for any given map or game type, you have a few different options about how to do things. When me, derek, and terry played your "team", the reason we combined for +102 (Ponked = +32, Terry = +24, Derek = +46 ROFL) was because you did the same thing every single time. You'll get better as time goes on, but you have to be willing to learn from your mistakes and change how you play to avoid those mistakes in the future. Someone can give you all the information in the world about how to be a pro team, but if you don't listen to what they say or you don't make an effort to change, you'll never get better. Good luck.
