I'm feeling kind of guilty here cause I'm definitley the most off-topic prone member who uses these two sites.  I have pointless arguments with everyone: Joey, Derek, Steve, Brennan Shaun, you name it.  Hell, I even got a 1 day ban on legacy from Allen (this was a long time ago, like around Christmas time) for being off topic so much.

Allen banned me a long time ago for going off topic. I know it was him because the "reason for ban" box was filled in with something that actually made sense, kinda like "continues to go off topic" instead of "laugh out load".  Like honestly, who spells the word "loud" wrong?  Like it's not even like it was a typo because the "a" is halfway across the keyboard from the "u"!  Your inablitity to spell four letter words astounds me Joey.

There, I think that's enough for him to hand out a second ban to me on legacy.

i have an idea for advertising. someone who has a lot of one months gives one to someone with a lot of free time, or just posts the account info on the site, joins ffa games, quits, and sends everyone they just played with a message advertising halo forever and halo legacy.

Ya and while they're at it they could play doubles with me so that I can get my 45 without having to backpack randoms who go mass negative, have no mics, and quit early all the time.  

Brennan won't play with me because he says he sucks, I usually go more positive in doubles than both Shaun and Whitetown (although their good intentions are greatly appreciated ), Joey says he doesn't play doubles, Derek says he hates doubles, Cody broke his deal that he'd play doubles with me, Steve has a substantial dislike for me, and I don't know what's wrong with Allen and his Team Mythic   I've already said that I very rarely have to be carried (Joey even said so!) so please someone play doubles with me so I can quit making these lengthy, offtopic posts that are basically me b****ing about how I don't have my 45  .  I know some of you guys are just avoiding me cause it's me but seriously, I'm going to shit an ostrich*.

We are not avoiding you idiot, at least I'm not I know that, if you want your 45 in something play it something that we all play in and not stupid doubles, play MLG or something because really all I play is social skirmish team snipers and MLG team slayer once in a while when people are on but I still think that playlist is retarded, grow some nuts and stop complaining about people avoiding you to the more you bitch the more people won't want to play with you, stop worrying about what people think about you.

BTW good idea Lotor, I'm pretty sure Joey has unlimited 1 months for some reason on his xbox and he might be able to do it?  Allen already has an account that's named after Legacy too

I am usually not the one to complain here at all, but sometimes I agree with Ponked. Lately, I have been getting kicked from customs and matchmaking because I am the lowest rank there. Even though I was the 3rd one there. The only customs I can play is when Derek invites me, but people that I won't name never invite me when they have room or they kick me for someone better. I thought I once heard on the forums, "to be the best, you have to play with the best". Does that hold true anymore? Most people are making 1 months to boost them to a 50 thus taking away playing time from people that need it. If you have once 50 account do you really need another one? Or could you help the person who has one account with a 31. I thought that is what this forum was about, besides Derek I never can never get invited at all. Usually I join with Derek to come into games with Cody and Brennen and so on. Yes I do suck, but I am learning just today I had plus 11 in team snipers. Im not awful so stop kicking me from stuff just so you can get a 50 in there.

Hymetime, the reason(s) you could be getting booted from matchmaking are:

- They're planning on playing in a playlist where (a) member(s) have a high skill in that playlist and don't want to lose it or they're trying to rank up.  No offense, I'm just saying you've definitley improved but you might still have trouble competeing at the 45-50 range but I think you know that.  

- They're planning on playing in a playlist where your rank is way lower (more than 10 difference) than the rest of the group and if they tried to go into that playlist with you, the system probably wouldn't find a match because it would search under "mixed party".

- They've made prearragements to play with someone else and they don't want to break their promise by playing with you.

The reasons you could be getting booted out of customs:

- A formal team of 4 is scrimming (practicing) and, in order to get the most out of their practice time, they want to play against really good people.

"to be the best, you have to play with the best"

Other than that, I can't think of too many other reasons why you're getting booted frequently.  I haven't seen you around much so I really don't know.  When I first started, there was definitley times when I felt the way you do right now so guys (you know who you are), try and be accomodating if there's not a good reason (ie: one of the above examples, I don't think I missed anything ).  Remember, it's just a custom.  Unless someone's practicing, does it really matter if we're not all the same skill level?  It's nice to play competitively sometimes but every once in a while, I don't think it would hurt to let newer players in.  Hell, we could even go over gameplay with them afterward.

Hymetime: my advice to you would be that you're probably going to have the most luck in (ranked from highest to lowest):

- FFA's
- Customs
- Matchmaking, unless they're going into Skirmish, Squad battle, or something else that doesn't matter, which doesn't occur very often.   You're probably going to get booted if they're playing MLG, Team Slayer, Doubles, Snipers, SWAT, etc. but just remember: don't take it to heart.  It's not because they don't like you, it's just because your skill level isn't quite where their's is.

But yes, I understand the whole matchmaking thing, but honestly give me a shot. I even do not get invited to the play lists that do not rank up skill level at all. And customs is another thing. Yes I know I can not out BR Derek or Brennen or Cody but damn you might as well give me a shot. And the level thing is crap. I have met level's 12 that can out BR some members on the forums any day of the week. Level means shit in Halo 3. Most 50's know a days are people that were boosted or people that had amazing partners. I am sure I could get my 50 in TS if I had Derek,Steve,Cody, etc in my party and we played everyday then I would get to 50 to. It doesn't mean that I am better then Ponked or anyone else because I have a 50. And yes in customs everyone makes mistakes and goes to the wrong places sometimes doesn't mean they suck. I'm certain Cody was not an amazing customs player when he started. Or any of you were. It took practice but it doesn't help when you keep getting booted or getting bagged on having a low level. Is that supposed to motivate people??

Nobody's "bagging" on you, most of the time I'd say that the reason none of the higher level guys play MM with you is because the system won't let them as it won't find a match.  Don't take it to heart and I'm not meaning to burst your bubble but...  I don't think there's that big of a flaw in the ranking system that a legit 32 could get a 50 with good teammates.  Take me for example, I'm probably good enough for a 45, but the only way I could probably get a 50 is if I was playing with Instinct  .

The reason this forum has gone quiet is because once upon a time there were a few decent players who all got along & since then the community has grown. However with this comes flaming....and we never had flaming before. We are quite a tight knit group now really and have moved over to Halo Legacy more as it is managed by ourselves effectively. Allen started it uo and Derek, Cody & Joey are mods so it works well.

I don't dislike you, however when you send someone a random msg saying "lol bad kid" ?? i tends to annoy that person. & when you then go on to send the a screen shot that read "where did you buy your 50" again may rub them up the wrong way........

Honestly?  It "rubbed you the wrong way"?  People like Joey and Brennan used to (not quite as bad but it still happens on a daily basis ) make fun of me and post all kinds of shit meant to insult me literally every chance they got.  After like 2 months, I finally freaked out on them and what am I told?  That I'm getting mad over nothing and I shouldn't take things so seriously, so now I just try my best to ignore them.

Then, there's you.  You boot me before you go into Team Slayer with Joey and I send you two messages (described in your post lol) .  Next thing I know, AFTER ONLY 2 MESSAGES, it's literally the end of the world for Steve and you feel compelled to join my game and put on a hilarious display of childish behaviour (I thought you were like 30 something ).

Like honestly, are you seeing the contrast or am I the bad guy again?  I think the lesson here would be, "Hypocrits shouldn't be giving other people advice."
