I don't dislike you, however when you send someone a random msg saying "lol bad kid" ?? i tends to annoy that person. & when you then go on to send the a screen shot that read "where did you buy your 50" again may rub them up the wrong way........

Honestly?  It "rubbed you the wrong way"?  People like Joey and Brennan used to (not quite as bad but it still happens on a daily basis ) make fun of me and post all kinds of shit meant to insult me literally every chance they got.  After like 2 months, I finally freaked out on them and what am I told?  That I'm getting mad over nothing and I shouldn't take things so seriously, so now I just try my best to ignore them.

Then, there's you.  You boot me before you go into Team Slayer with Joey and I send you two messages (described in your post lol) .  Next thing I know, AFTER ONLY 2 MESSAGES, it's literally the end of the world for Steve and you feel compelled to join my game and put on a hilarious display of childish behaviour (I thought you were like 30 something ).

Like honestly, are you seeing the contrast or am I the bad guy again?  I think the lesson here would be, "Hypocrits shouldn't be giving other people advice."

I booted you before me and Joey played doubles.....evidentally as you can only do doubles with 2 people.....

Then you proceeded to send me msgs over xbl. These were preceeded by childish msgs on another forum and being a general e-penis.

At what point in my last posyt did I say anything offensive towards you? You said I disliked you - I said I didn't and stated the facts. You then again proceed to be childish and flame me (again). I fail to see your logic really - how am I a hypocrit?

I do not want to waste my time with people like you who feel the need to be defensive over the smallest of discretion and use flaming as your mechanism. Are you aware of what banter is? My post regarding 'forum spearing' decribes you pretty accurately.

Lastly I'm 22 - & when a person sends me a msg intended in offense - damn right I'm gonna take it badly - especially being as I don't yet know you. I joined your lobby and asked you why you sent me a msg - this is how the converstaion developed - and Joey was there at the time so I have proof:

Steve: Why did you send me that msg you retarded little boy?

Ponked: Because you're a bad lvl 27 kid (I was on my booster)

Steve: Pretty sure Ive got 2 48's on other accounts.....

I know I'm the new guy and we haven't officially met, but I just wanted to tell you how this whole fiasco sounds from a third-person perspective.

To be honest, I haven't had the chance to play with you yet, but just from how you like to instigate and how you present yourself on the forums, I don't know how much I want to now.
On the other hand, I have played a handful of games with Steve and have nothing, but positive things to say about him.  Same goes for Derek.

So from a third-person's point of view, I hope you can see how this looks and if I were you, I'd suggest to just drop it.

P.S.  If this post sounded like a flame, that was not intended as so.  I'm just hoping to stop this whole back and forth on the forums because it's getting old.

I appreciate the kind words guys, however I'd prefer if you guys didn't get involved as I don't want to upset anyone.

I don't dislike Ponked as I said earlier it's just one of those things that happen online with younger players. I'm a bit older and have just taken exception to some of the things he's said and done. I probably shouldn't have lost it with him in the lobby online - that ws wrong of me but he is unwilling to concede he is at any fault and calls me a liar.

Ponked - one thing I am not is a liar. Joey was there & I didn't make anything up. I switche accounts if you remember. You booted me and then I invited you back into a lobby. You joined and I proceeded to ask what was wrong to which you said 'you're bad that's what' .....I then lost it with you and did in fact tell you to gtfo the lobby. Joey then wanted to recover my account to 1v1 you lol. Ask him.

Enough has been said about this now. Like I said on legacy, I've retracted my posts and taken the high road, question is will you do the same?

Wrong, didn't I already say that I was sorry for calling you a "BK" if it hurt your feelings?  I wasn't mad that you were pissed about my jokes (I know you don't have a 50 silly), I was mad because you made a gigantic post that said I take things too seriously (I had no clue as to how that pertained to the events that occured) and talked about how everything was perfect in the world until I arrived on the scene. The last thing I'm going to say is if I flame too much (I will try my best not to call people "bad" anymore), why wasn't there an uproar when I first joined and Joey and Brennan literally harassed me with insults everytime I posted something/opened my mouth?  Do these rules about flaming only apply to me?

Agreed, it was two messages and a few "you're bad" comments that sparked this, so I think we're done now.Oh wait...  I guess this post makes the thread/debate even longer   

P.S. To specific members of the forums (who I won't name ) who feel they need to get involved, you can't really take sides/accuse me of being the "instigator" when you don't even have reliable information as to what occured little own witnessed it, so please refrain from doing so, especially when you're passing judgements even though you've never even met me.

lol Ponked 'younger player' wasn't an insult - it was a fact. You do realise 16 is a younger player. I'm 23, people like Derek and Allen are in their 20's and Gary is late 20's! So you are in fact a younger player on the forums. There's nothing wrong with that I was just saying it's only natural that you may seem childish to us.

There is a huge difference between the ages of 16-19/20 then another big difference between 20 and 22/23. You'll see when you get there and you'll suddenly understand what I mean trust me.

Big growth and learning curves occur between these ages, leaving school, going to university & then going to work. You've got it all to look forward to! Well everything except the work part...it's terrible!

IMHO, Garry needs a cane 'cause he's like in his mid 30's isn't he?  He's old enough where he could be my dad (assuming he was a very "busy" teenager ).

BTW what do you DO Derek?  do you go to college?  Do you work?  Do you still have to graduate?  Cause I here all these guys talking about their jobs or college but Derek is just...  a mystery (insert creepy music clip).  Because even I mentioned my job, although it's not as big of a commitment as a regular one.

On the topic of jobs, but not relating to this thread at all, what should I do when I graduate?  I'm thinking of going into either Law, Science, or some form of Med (but not a doctor, maybe a psychologist or something?).  I have the marks to do whatever I want so all options are open!
