IMHO, Garry needs a cane 'cause he's like in his mid 30's isn't he? He's old enough where he could be my dad (assuming he was a very "busy" teenager ). BTW what do you DO Derek? do you go to college? Do you work? Do you still have to graduate? Cause I here all these guys talking about their jobs or college but Derek is just... a mystery (insert creepy music clip). Because even I mentioned my job, although it's not as big of a commitment as a regular one. On the topic of jobs, but not relating to this thread at all, what should I do when I graduate? I'm thinking of going into either Law, Science, or some form of Med (but not a doctor, maybe a psychologist or something?). I have the marks to do whatever I want so all options are open! That's the enigma in life that you have to find out on your own. No one can really answer that question for you. I'd say most people still don't know what they want to be or end up just dealing with it and grinding day by day. Some people are lucky to land a career they actually enjoy and there are a select few that are blessed with some direction at an early age. Being irresponsible as I am, I went through my whole school career not knowing what I want to do. I graduated with a degree I'm not particularly passionate about (parents have some impact on that), but I make due. Going back to school to teach HS Chem though, hopefully that works out for me -- been something I've been wanting to do for a long while.

I guess you could say I do a whole lot of nothing, I took a year off of any schooling and then looked back at a bunch of my high school courses and saw I did really bad on some so this past semester I victory lapped and now I am looking for a job for the summer and next semester I am victory lapping for the semester and then working again to save up money for college or university.

Going back to school to teach HS Chem though, hopefully that works out for me -- been something I've been wanting to do for a long while. You can go to college and university and they spoon feed you total BS about how you'll fall into your dream career with endless options and you can do whatever you want. In principle this is completely false lol. You leave uni then reality hits as you realise you have to take an average job for avaerage money to get experience. Once you have that experience you're pretty mucg pidgeon hold onto a career path as you can't change job roles without taking a cut in money and re-training. By this point you have monthly expenditure and can't afford to take a pay cut so you have to carry on the same path. There is no such thing as a perfect career. Only making the most of what you choose to do early in life. If you work hard there are options but don't listen to your careers advisor because they talk out of their proverbial asses. Reality is, work sucks - most jobs aren't great they're a means to an end and if you're prepared to graft, you'll earn a lot of money for doing your crappy job. It's purely about building and sustaining strategic relationships - it's always what you know...but who you know! Take me for example. I left university with a good honours degree in Business information systems. I'm now an account manager for Eon (an energy company) at the minute. I'm now on decent money, but I've had to work for a couple of years in an average job on average money to get here. & i'm now expected to do that little bit more. I've followed my business path I suppose but I would have never predicte I'd be at an energy company. You just have to take whatever is the best role that is suited to you in your chosen geographical location. The working world is boring, tough, tiring and full of assess. Make the most of it while you can is my advice.

Sorry to butt into this conversation, but I'm going back to the start of this thread. A new forum visitor comments about lack of activity on these forums. Then somebody posts a link to another website? To prove what? How does that increase posting or activity here? I'm the guy who's most loyal to the posters and visitors here. I will do whatever I can with this site to promote yourself or your team to get some exposure. I'm grateful for any and all contributions. Having said that, this thread is like a slap in the face or essentially like having a group spit in my face. Not exactly what I was expecting from you guys. Advertising and telling people in these forums that "all the regulars here" moved other there now does what? How is that good for this place? I bet you guys learned a LOT from what people offered up here for tips. And the thanks? Send people somewhere else? Yeah.

I have learned so much, I am not gong negative anymore but actually quite positive in team snipers. I think we should just stop talking/insulting Ponked. I mean there are some people in life that feed off drama. Calling him names is not going to make him stop. I think he wants attention sometimes but sometimes he can be super cool. Ponked just learn not to butt into peoples lives. Who cares what Derek does, he is an amazing player and helps people so leave it alone. If he wants to tell you then he can, but there is no reason to mention it on the forums.

I don't really read every post that every person makes in the past until I saw this post and I looked back at what joey aka riangle said and that was sort of a dick move, at least don't say that we have moved on because most of us haven't, I post on both and I enjoy both communities very much, I enjoy helping people and enjoy posting on both forums.

Uhhh... I don't think Derek had a problem with me asking him what he did for a living or if he went to university? LOL and I'm not going to get into it but once again, I'm at fault for what exactly? I don't think I really flame people who flame me anymore... I think you came onto the scene a little late Hyme BTW try going into MLG by yourself stead of snipers, you'll get better a lot faster

Of course I want to be better but if your not having fun then whats the point of playing. Team Snipers is fun because its unpredictable, MLG is too but again it stand for Major League Gaming. And plus the one time I went into MLG by myself I got spawn killed and lets hide in the corner. I dunno if it seems noobish to need a radar but it takes away the morons who crouch and wait.

Chances are they weren't crouching you just weren't paying attention to the things around you, just try and pay attention more, like ponked said you will get better in overall in MLG but in team snipers you will get better with the sniper, also for all those think that MLG is for people that take this game seriously it isn't, it is just a certain set of gametypes that a company came up with and monopolized on, people like me like it because it is a competitive way to play the game that I enjoy and I very much like playing this game.

Not last night you didn't ROFLZ "I'm the only f*cking one standing on our f*cking training while the rest of our f*cking team is f*cking jerking it in flag and mauler with the f*cking retard who's got our f*cking flag and being a f*cking distraction!" Probably not exactly what you said but somewhere along those lines

Lol I got pissed off yes but think about it from my perspective, we kill 2 three people and we don't even push up to our green, trianing or long hall, and there was nothing stopping them to push up to our side again and what did they do, they pushed up again and I'm the only one trying to stop them so I kill the gut in green and get flanked from training thinking what the hell where is my team and I look back and one is in flag mauler and in needle pit or something like that, it is so stupid.

My perspective:
The game's tied 2-2. There's a minute left. We have 2 down but they're not really pushing us. A guy in our base pulls flag and isn't juggling. You're on training and I'm on plat. I'm scrambling around trying to find this guy and I go near mauler and he drops that flag and waits for me to come in (camping with mauler) as our two teammates spawn flag. My thinking was it was more important to deal with the guy who had our flag and a mauler when there's a minute left and it's tied 2-2 and, for some stupid reason, our teammates followed me in but I killed him anyway.
But think about this. We push up to our long hall, our green, our training, etc while there's a guy from the other team inside our setup that we're ignoring. The other team is still most likely going to push us at our green, training, long hall, etc. because they know they have the flag at mauler and they want to win. So, we back out a little bit behind cover as we get nade spammed and they rush us. Then, all of a sudden, retard who was camping in our mauler with the flag (assuming he didn't do the smart thing and use the fact that we were ignoring him to leave and run the flag through runway) hears his teammates callouts and pokes his head out from around the corner. He then proceeds to shoot us all in the backs and clean up every single one-shot as his teammates push through long hall, green, and training to help. Best case scenario is we killed three who are rushing but the guy in mauler survived. Now, he's juggling the flag through needles becasue everyone on our team is down and spawning at courtyard and it's a pretty easy cap.
I know you're better than me but I strongly disagree with you on this. If we would've pushed up, sure you wouldn't have gotten raped at training but I doubt that we would've tied them.

The guy in our mauler was friggin dead I knew at one point at the end there someone killed him, and even then we didn't push up to our end of the map, I notice this alot in games that when the team has an opportunity to push up and it never happens, if the guy is in mauler ponked he can easily be naded out without a problem just tell your team mates to turn around and nade mauler and guess what you can do that from our long hall and green. I went up by myself from a 33 to a 39 easy and then when I went in with you I didn't win a single game, I am not trying to put your assesment down everyone has there own opinion and I am not always right either but you don't see pro teams camping in flag in mauler and at needles letting the other team push to thier side of the map and just get into a good position on our side.
