Heya. It's been not getting updates or posts. What the best idea? Should I merge it into the Halo 3 forum? Or should I just delete it? Or does anyone feel like posting here once in a while?

You can give tips on how to survive starting out in MLG with people who do not have any mics at all, and always hand the power weaps over to the other team. I am so frustrated I am 1-3 in MLG. In MLG ball I went plus 14 100 points and we lost. Its like the people on there always go for the ball so then the other team just gets in positions to kill them. But then its like if I team up with Ash or Ponked or anyone of those people then I am playing against people that are legit so its like then I go -9. But people tell me to get better play MLG, but its sooo damn frustrating when the people in there can't shoot a damn. I mean I am not saying I am the greatest I am probably the worst player on these forums but if I can go plus 14 then these other people can at least try to go positive. It ended up being +14,-9,-10,-5. How am I supposed to rank up with those ratios?

Thats what happens when you go in by yourself.  You can't do anything about your teammates, the only thing you have control over is your own gameplay.  Don't let that get to your head, just call out, play your game, and do your best.  It doesn't really matter that you lose, just that you get better.  And as you get better, your skill level will get to the point where you can backpack bad teammates and rank up.

It's like running with ankle weights.  Sure it's harder, but when you take them off, you'll be twice as good.

Still I did another 3 games this morning, and I went 0-3 part of the same reason. I went -1 in one game but then +6,+4 while my allies got negative. Is it really that hard to plug your mic in or buy a cheap one???

i suggest making a close group of friend on XBL and going into MLG with them.....this is how team chemistry is built upon interaction of people who have been together long.....thats usually what i do....that way i do not have to complain about people not having mics....although its personal preference really....some of us dont plug it in....(myself somtimes) but rarely

Don't worry about whether you win or lose in MLG Playlist... It is there as an individual skill builder. It helps you adapt to different playing styles. I am only a 40 in MLG. 75% of my losses are due to bad teammates and the other 25% is just being outplayed. It doesn't mean I will stop, if you keep going, you will improve eventually. However, in my honest opinion, the best place to build team chemistry is in Custom Scrimmage games against other teams.
