Your right I don't have a right to tell them they have to play with me. But if there up for being experts on here shouldn't they be willing to help? Your up for being an expert even. You don't need to know, it would cause more problems wouldn't it? But your right, I will stop complaining but maybe take yourself out of the running for expert if you don't want to help? But whatever had most of this pented up from all the times in customs I was mocked xD

The current experts are either bad at halo, or don't play halo. I'd compare them not playing with you to complaining about how my dead dog Sparky doesn't hop around when I tell him we're going on a walk. New experts are in the mix anyhow, so that problem should be solved soon. And to your suggestion, No I wont take my self out of the "running" for expert. I need my ego stroked just like everyone else in this community, and omitting myself from that poll would spoil it. Besides, I'm not entirely neglectful of inexperienced players. I'd just prefer to play with friends who are around my skill level instead of strangers who I have to carry. When the friends aren't around I don't usually ignore people and play with myself(no pun  intended). That's reasonable in my books.

On a serious note. Mark I'm not sure who it is that's kicked you, but I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have meant anything by it. I have devoted a fair bit of time recently to helping people - just ask Fobtran (Mike).

I can't be helping people all the time though otherwise I wouldn't get better would I? Likely I would get worse as I am playing with people of a lower skill all of the time. Keep at it and you'll be up there in time - it doesn't happen without concerted effort though.

There are lots of people willing to help, just make sure you don't expect too much, after all we do this in good-will - we don't get anything for it!

I generally only boot people if they are making the game lag, or the majority of the party wants them booted.

But i also do have a list of people who i prefer to play with and if i can get one of them in the game, i would boot the person i know the least.

The key here Hyme is that there has to be a balance.  Sure, we all will try to help you (and I think we've done not too bad so far) and play with you,  but you should realize also that we, the people you look to for help, are also looking to get better.  We have to balance our time between helping newer players and helping ourselves.  And about you getting booted from ranked games, it isn't all about rank, although some of it is.  We don't want to play low level players day in and day out because that only makes us worse.  It's not that we don't like you, it's simply that we want some time for ourselves.  Don't forget we're helping newer players completely out of chairty.

But I have to agreee with Hyme on one point, and that's if you aren't planning helping anyone, don't put yourself up for an expert.  The reason we have those positions appointed are so that newer players know who to get help from.  It's okay that the experts aren't devoting all their time to newer players, but they should help a little.

Joey, if you only want to be an expert so as to have your e-penis "stroked", I'm not sure that I agree with you being an expert.  All I can say is that I've either been helped by or seen Derek, Cody, Steve, Jaz, and Allen (although he doesn't post much so I'm not sure he'd be a good expert) helping others multiple times.  Sadly, I can't say the same for you.  The only time you helped me was when you told to quit going bottom on Cold Storage, that was it.

c'mo Ponked you are reletively new and haven't helped that many people - in fact have only sparked a few flame wars -  you will be judged accordingly. Pleas stop getting into arguments with people as this doesn't help anyone does it? Lets just leave it at that,

Go find a 31 to take me out. I'm an attempted booster 50, such a bad booster that I couldn't even get to 50.
And a 50 is a graduate from being a noob, though in our community it's 45 mainly because the majority of us are 45s'

Once again, remember how you were gone for 5 months?  You missed quite a bit while you were gone, namely the part where Joey treated me like shit for the first two months after I joined.  He still does it now, just not as often and a little more subtle. 

And I'm not starting an argument, I'm merely stating my opinion and observations on an argument that's already been started, just like you are. 

If you want to "leave it at that", why do you keep bringing it up?  You always say, "let's drop it and move on", and yet it seems like that every thread I post in you mention it.

Once again, I wasn't saying I was right, I was only saying WHAT I SAW.  I didn't say neccessarily that Joey hasn't ever helped anyone in the history of man kind, only that I haven't seen him help anyone who's new and who hasn't paid him a 1 month to play with them since I've been here. See where I say "I haven't seen", not "Joey hasn't"?  Your argument about him helping you is kind of void because you're telling me I'm wrong about a point I never made in the first place.

You were asking, no begging for a "lesson" and then wouldn't shut up asking me to play doubles with you.

The last two sentences can be as much of a flame as you want them to be. I'm not going to act like you're my friend because "It's the right thing to do". You should have understood by now I find you annoying. I, and nearly everyone else on this site has to have repeated why at least 3 times each. So don't act surprised or offended when I tell you I'm not your biggest fan.
