What to expect from Halo 3 Cheats & Glitches page?

Our main focus will be on Halo 3 cheats. This include weapons glitches and multiplayer glitches and every other Halo 3 cheats.

Whatever I can find out there, I'll post it here for you! You may think that Halo 3 players haven't unlocked many secrets or glitches as was seen in Halo 2. This is true, but if you check some of the links I have assembled, you will realize that there are plenty of cool Halo 3 glitches out there. Yes, not many in the mulitplayer gameplay, but there are enough to have some fun with. I will continue looking around the internet for new glitches and will post them for you as they become available. This will be your #1 source I promise!

This thread is designed to gather all the weapon glitches/button combos in Halo 3. All information is based on default controls. Refer to the handbook that came with Halo 3 if you are confused on default controls. Buttons will be put in parenthesis, ex. (B). The glitches on this thread should not be used on Xbox Live. These go against the Xbox Live Terms of Policy.

"RRY"
Description: Your Battle Rifle will fire out one round, switch to your other weapon and then fire out another round.
Requirements: You must be host. A Battle Rifle and another primary or secondary weapon. Ammo for your Battle Rifle.
Combo: (RT) (RT) (Y)

"RRYB"
Description: A Battle Rifle instant kill.
Requirements: You must be host. A Battle Rifle and another primary or secondary weapon. Ammo for your Battle Rifle.
Combo: (RT) (RT) (Y) Pause (B)

Sword Collision Kill
Description: After a collision this will make you lunge quicker than normal.
Requirements: You must have a Energy sword with ammo. You must have just collided with an opponent.
Combo: (B) (RT)

Double Melee
Description: As an opponent tries to melee you you will double melee them.
Requirements: A weapon that has a clip with ammo that has at least one bullet missing.
Combo: (B) (RB) (B)
NOTE: Removed in version 1.1

Grenade Animation Cancel
Description: It will make a grenade float in front of you, it will then release itself without the animation time.
Requirements: You must have a primary and secondary weapon and a grenade.
Combo: (Y) (LT) (Y)

Grenade Time Cancel
Description: After throwing a grenade you will quickly be able to shoot, scope, or melee.
Requirements: A grenade and a primary and secondary weapon.
Combo: (LT) (Y) (Y)

Objective Instant Kill
Description: With an objective weapon there is an instant kill where you will swing and melee at the same time.
Requirements: An objective weapon and off-host.
Combo: (RT) (RB) (B) simultaneously.

Sandtrap Map Glitch - I'm not sure if anyone has told you yet but the Elephant can be fliped on forge. It is very funny. All you need to do is make as many fusion coils and plasma batterys as possible wedge it between the tredds, then take as many trip mines as you can get and activate them next to the Elephant. Finally take a missile pod *or rocket launcher* and fire at one of the trip mines. This will cause a chain reation causing an awsome explosion and fliping the elephant on its side. Remember to hHave the Elephant on an incline or hill. (contributed by: Brock, added March 5, 2008)
