The trees in the map can be climbed, providing excellent sniping and ambush positions. Players should explore the map offline, and learn the routes to climb specific trees. Just remember, though you have the advantage of “hiding” in a tree, you're still brightly colored and easily seen. Use these positions for a couple of kills, but don’t get greedy; people will learn your patterns. (source: MyCheats.com, added November 7, 2007)

Pro Tip - Hold the lower “goo chute” area on Isolation with a battle rifle, and kills will be fed to you. (contributed by: Joseph Tung, Halo 3 Multiplayer Producer and Luke Timmins, Halo 3 Engineer)

You will see an (*) next to a weapon. That means you have to drop that weapon in order for it to respawn (the time will count from the time you pick the weapon up)

I will be posting many Isolation tip and trick videos in the days and weeks to come. Players are learning the Halo 3 maps so it will take a bit of time for top notch tip and tricks videos. Just please keep checking back because I'll post them up as soon as they are available! For now, I recommend that you watch the Isolation Flythrough and Walkthrough videos. Just watch while consulting the Isolation maps which you can print out. Learn this stuff and you will starting winning!
